The history of Alaska drag racing — street to strip — straight from the racers, families, and fans
Welcome to the Alaska Drag Racing book project! Heather McGee and Dan Roche have been collecting research and source material and transcribing interviews to bring together the who, what, when, where, why, and how of Alaska’s history of drag racing – both street and track, back to the beginning. Our aim is to help organize and tell the story while making this a project that brings together the racing and history communities.

Our first goal is to print a paperback in black and white, and it will be printed locally as a 100% Made in Alaska product. However, we will also soon open a fundraiser to print a limited edition hardback full-color version.
